Time Stands Still Tickets

    The wonderful story of a photo journalist who survives a roadside bombing but still may not live through her marriage.  The story is about the photographer and a journalist who survive while documenting the harsh realities of the Middle East for nine years.  Injuries later force the couple to return to a more conventional life in New York and struggle a more mundane life that they no longer recognize.  This new drama poses the question, “our we able to enjoy happiness in a world filled with so much despair?”

  With the Emmy Award-winning actress Laura Linney with the Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies production “Time Stands Still”.  Linney is known for her work in films such as “The Savages and the HBO TV “mini-series “John Adams”.  Brian d’Arcy James, the Tony Award nominee who was currently singing power ballads for Shrek the Musical will now join in to help star in the premiere of “Time Stands Still” at the Theatre Club.

  This timely and intelligent play marks the fourth collaboration for Pulizer Prize winner Donald Margulies and Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan.  Without question Daniel elicits fine work from his clearly talented cast.  But there is also a curious sense of distance between all of them and the audience.  Almost as if the audience was behind a invisible camera of sorts.  Watching the stories of these characters unfold but never becoming fully invested in what’s happening.
