New York Yankees Tickets

  As part of the East Division League, the  Yankees, being a professional baseball team based out of the Bronx.  They are from New York and are one of the many members of the Major League Baseball group, or the MLB.  There are eight charter franchises for the American League and they are one of them.  Their club was put together in 1901 in Baltimore, Maryland.    They later moved to New York city in 1903 being called the New York Highlanders but they were later changed to the “Yankees”.  Their home Ballpark was Yankee Stadium from 1923 to 2008.  They moved into a bigger more famous stadium in 2009 with the same name, Yankee Stadium. 

  The Yankees have won 27 world championship series and even 40 American League Pennants.  All these awards puts the Yankees to front with the most championships than any other franchise in the whole U.S.A.  The Yankees have had some of the most famous and celebrated players the world has ever seen.  Some including, Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.  44 of the teams players have even been put into the Baseball Hall of Fame and have retired 16 of its players as well.

  If one thing is true about the New York Yankees its that they have a great and dedicated fanbase.  They have received a reputation for great money spending to be able to win.  Their biggest feud of all time is definitely going to be with the Boston Red Sox.  In 2002 the television channel YES Network was put together to expand their media coverage.  It has been a great source of profit to the whole franchise.
