Million Dollar Quartet Tickets

   Although you will never see Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash reunite in this life, there is a Broadway show that brings them all together.  This may just be the next best thing besides seeing them in real life.  The producers of the musical “Million Dollar Quartet” said that they planned to bring their show, also based on a 1956 recording session that brought that famous foursome together at Sun Records in Memphis. 

  “Million Dollar Quartet will bring that legendary night to life, featuring a great number of songs including, “Blue Sued Shoes,” “Fever,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Walk the Line,” “Who Do you Love?,” and “Hound Dog.”  The musical will capture the singular moment when the four major talents came together to become a red-hot rock ‘n’ roll band.

  Publicits for the musical said that the Broadway production would be directed by Eric Schaeffer.  It will score a large number of vintage rock songs made famous by those singers.  The Chicago production features Brian McCaskill (as Sam Phillips), Rob Lyons (as Carl Perkins), Lance Guest (as Johnny Cash), Levi Kreis (as Jerry Lewis) and Eddie Clendening (as Elvis Presley).  It is produced by Relevant Theatricals, John Cossette Productions, Northern Lights Inc., Broadway Across American and James L. Nederlander.
