Looped Tickets

“Looped” tells the story of Tallulah Bankead who is a internationally celebrated actress being called into a sound studio in 1965 to re-record (or Loop) one line of dialogue for what would be her last film.  Ms. Bankhead is known for her wild partying and exploits that some times outshines even today’s celebrity bad girls.  Because she is in an inebriated state (and is enable to loop the line perfectly). In the end there Is a hilarious showdown between the uptight sound editor, Danny Miller and the outrageous legend.

  Harper who plays Tallulah bankhead is a four-time Emmy Award winner famous for playing Rhoda Morgenstern in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and the spin-off series, “Rhoda.”  She has performed with various companies of Second City and Story Theatre in many venues all over the country and even in Canada.  Her and her husband, Tony Cacciotti, began developing a one-woman play based on the life and work of Pearl S. Buck, who was a Nobel Prize-winning author of, among many different works, “The Good Earth.”

  “Looped made its world premiere in summer 2008 at Pasadena Playhouse and later played at Cuillo Centre for the Arts in Florida.  The creative team for “Looped” includes set designer Adrian W. Jones, costume designer William Ivey Long, assistant costume designers Cathy Parrott and Donald Sanders, wig designer Charles LaPointe, lighting designer Michael Gilliam, and sound designer Michael Hooker.
