God Of Carnage Tickets

God of Carnage gives off the kind of laugh that you get strait from the gut.  Something that comes out involuntarily.  This play is extremely funny and fast paced.  This has been said to be one of the quickest 90 minute plays seen.  The script of this Broadway uses every trick in the book.  From one-liners to sight gags and physical comedy, its got everything!  You will leave this epic comedy still in laughter.

God of Carnage is about two married couples who meet after their respective sons get in fights at school.  The parents meet up to discuss the fight and who will pay for the missing teeth that were lost in the schoolyard fight.  It may have started out in a civilized fashion but it quickly breaks out into all out war when the parents get involved.  You would think the parents would be more mature but they turn out to be more riley than the kids in the playground.

The play is done by Yasmina Reza who also directed Jurgen Gosch and also performed in Zurich.  It started in 2008 in London.  In 2009 the play had received the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.  It has also gained a “Best Play” as well as “Best Direction” and “Best Actress” at the 2009 Tony Awards.
