  The Black Eyed Peas are a hip hop type group formed in Los Angeles in 1995.  They are William James Adams as vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Apl.de.ap as vocalist, Taboo and also Fergie.  They have sold around 28 million albums worldwide since their album Elephunk in 2003.  They had the huge hit “where is the Love?” in 2003 which topped over ten charts worldwide.  They also had the hit “Shut Up”.

  They later cam out with their next worldwide hit album Monkey Business.  This album certified 3x Platinum in the US and had two hit singles “My Humps” and “Don’t Phunk with my Heart”.  Later their singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” also made top 1 and 2 spots on the Billboard Hot 100.  The Black Eyed Peas was 1 of only 11 to ever do this.

  The Black Eyed Peas was ranked 12^th at the Billboard’s Decade-End Chart Artist of the Decade.  They were ranked 7^th in Hot 100 Artists of the Decade.
