Aida Tickets

This Broadway feature tells the story of a group touring a museum in the Egyptian Wing.  A man and a woman from the group catch each others eye during the exhibit and are somehow hurled into old Egypt.  There they experience the life and times of Egypt and all the many problems and controversies that arise.

This is a rock musical that is based off of a storybook version of Verdi’s opera.  It was written by Leontyne Price.  It was at one time aquired by Disney and proposed to be a film.  Later that idea was shelved and they later evolved it into a stage version instead.
