A View from the Bridge Tickets

  A View from the Bridge has been best described as, “5 stars and extremely well written!”   The Tony award winning Live Schreiber and the Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson are together in the Broadway in this extremely compelling drama. 

  Schreiber plays a man named Eddie Carbone who is an Italian American ongshoreman that lives in the Brooklyn area with his wife.  He later explodes in jealousy when some family members illegally enter the country seeking a better life in America.  His jealousy consumes him and his family and even his world.

  This Broadway show opened on September 29^th 1955 at the Coronet Theatre.  This Broadway show has a long history that comes with it.  There have been numerous actor changes throughout its time and it has performed in many locations in different ways.  There has been an opera version of it with music by William Bolcom that premiered in Chicago and later speeded to New York.  The drama was even translated into the Hindi language in 2005 to play in India.
